A Seniors Moment

Published by rational at 10:02 am under Uncategorized Edit This

A Senior in a Teen Agers world

I feel like a senior, and it’s not because

-        I like accordion music

-   When I  lighted the candles on my birthday cake a group of campers formed a circle & start singing “Kumbaya”

-        I find myself singing along with elevator music.

-        I sit in the rocking chair and can’t get it going.

-        Getting a little action means the prune juice is working

And while I’m on the senior moment binge, can anyone tell me why Why are hemorrhoids called “hemorrhoids” instead of “asteroids”? Okay, so I’m not quite a senior, (I’m 40 plus a couple) but I sure feel like it when I hear all the market rhetoric. I feel like a senior at a mall, and I’m watching all the teenagers going crazy with their Christmas shopping. While, I’m on the point, why can’t I say Happy Christmas anymore, enough of this politically correct – Happy Holidays. It’s Christmas, so I’ll call it happy Christmas – Okay, so I’m becoming a grouch as well. Happy whatever to you.

Seriously for most of these shoppers I think the The lights are on but someone’s playing with their dimmer switch.

Rational - I’m supporting all movements now . . .by eating bran, prunes and raisins.
